Who We Are
We're a carpet cleaning company based in Inglewood, CA. We've been working in this area long enough to know the neighborhoods, the housing stock, and the kinds of calls that come in regularly.
Some carpet cannot be saved, and we say so before we unroll a hose. If the pile is crushed flat from years of grit, cleaning will make it clean and still flat. If a pet has soaked the same corner for months, the padding and the slab underneath hold the odour, and a surface pass buys you a few weeks at best. Bleach spots, dye loss from cheap spot removers, and permanent yellowing from underextraction on a previous job do not come back. We will tell you that on the phone or at the door instead of taking the money. Estimates are free. You get a firm quote before anything starts. The number depends on room count, how bad the traffic lanes are, whether pet treatment or a rug pad lift is involved, and how much furniture has to move. No surprises added at the end.
Most of our calls fall into a few buckets. Move-out and turnover cleaning across the high rental share in Inglewood, Hawthorne, Lennox and the unincorporated county pockets, usually cheap builder-grade carpet that was cleaned for move-out rather than maintenance. Filtration soiling, the grey lines at baseboards and under doors, which is airflow, not spills, and takes a separate treatment. And flattened traffic lanes, which is the real local problem: the soil here is mineral, not organic. Fine grey street dust, tyre and brake particulate, and beach sand carried inland from the strand cities, with a dry season of six to seven months and no rain to wash the pavement. That grit is abrasive. It grinds pile flat. Vacuuming and a proper extraction pull it out before it does more damage. We work on Shaw, Mohawk, Karastan, Stainmaster, Anderson Tuftex and Masland, and we check the fibre before we pick a chemical, because wool and olefin do not take the same treatment.
The crew arrives with a truck-mounted unit, not a portable. We vacuum, pre-spray to break the binder holding soil to the fibre, agitate with a brush so the solution reaches the base of the pile, then make the extraction pass with heat and vacuum to pull the soil and the water back out. Air movers go down after. That last part matters more here than most places: no freeze, no basements, slab-on-grade or shallow raised-foundation construction, so carpet sits directly over concrete slab in most postwar and apartment stock. Marine layer keeps overnight humidity high, and carpet cleaned late in the day over slab dries slowly and wicks moisture up from the concrete, causing musty odour and browning if underextracted. The afternoon offshore breeze and low summer humidity make midday cleaning dry fast, so we book slab jobs earlier when we can. Hot water extraction is the right call for wall-to-wall over slab and anything with real soil load. Low-moisture is for light maintenance, occupied offices, and glued-down commercial where we cannot afford dry time. Upholstery gets hand tools and a lighter touch, since sofa fabrics take dye and water differently than carpet. Coastal homes tend to bring us more pets, more sand and area rugs over hardwood. Inland, it is wall-to-wall in the bedrooms with tile or laminate up front.
Our service area
We cover Inglewood and the surrounding towns. If you're in one of these areas and have a carpet cleaning problem, call us. We usually get out the same day.
What actually changes the job in Inglewood
Event days set our schedule. SoFi and the Kia Forum swallow street parking near Prairie and Century. Permit blocks fill early. A long hose run costs suction. We book those streets on non-event days instead.
Second-floor dingbat apartments need a different plan. Carport underneath, no crawlspace, hoses up an open stair. We keep water volume low there. Over-wetting shows later as a carport ceiling stain.
Postwar tract houses sit on slab. Carpet over concrete dries one direction only, upward. Add the overnight marine layer and drying stalls. We leave air movers running longer. Windows go open midday, not at dusk. Homes under the LAX approach collect fine soot through those same windows.
Older bungalows in Fairview Heights and North Inglewood hide oak under the carpet. Tack strip, felt pad, sometimes wool with jute backing. Jute browns when soaked. Wool reacts badly to alkaline detergent. We test an inside corner before touching the room.
Local tap water is hard. Mineral left in the pile pulls soil back quickly. An acidic rinse solves that. Ask what we are putting down and we will name the product. Estimates are free, and you get a firm quote before anything gets wet.
